Do Something…

I belive that we all, deep inside, regardless of race, creed, or culture, have a desire to make a difference in this world.  Often times we either don’t know where to get involved, how to get involved, or even if we can make a difference.  Some of us will use the excuse of, “no one ever told me about it.”  Sometimes, it all seems so overwhelming, and we can become lost in the pressure and heaviness of it all that it can be hard to know what to do.

So this is my attempt to give you (whoever you are that is reading this) some info on some things going on in this world that are heartbreaking, opressive, bleak, seemingly hopelss, wrong, and just plain evil.  The next step, check out the links, and pick one that resonates with you, and learn how you can get involved and make a difference.  It could be as small as signing a petition, writing a letter, or posting the site on yours.  Or you may be so moved to make a donation, volunteer, or go work for that cause / organization.

Sometimes the best thing we can do, is also the simplest yet most profound…To pray.  In order to know what to pray for, we need to allow God to show us the things that break His heart, so they may in turn, break ours.  Hopefully this helps some become informed, hopefully some hearts are broken to the point of action.
