About

I hate talking about myself, so here’s the facts:

Who am I?  I am a follower of Christ, a husband, father to a son, son, brother, friend, and pastor. I try and fail everyday to do things right, but because of grace I know I can always get back up and walk tall.

I love being with my family.  I love being in creation.  I love to spend time and have good conversations over good food and good drink with good friends.

I walk, hike, climb. I don’t run.  I watch movies and T.V. to relax, read to learn and grow, play video games to release some stress, and write to clear my head.  I take photos to catch moments in time, sometimes they’re creative, sometimes their goofy, sometimes they’re random, but they’re always mine.

I have a passion to make a difference in this world, and to inspire and help others do the same.  But sometimes my selfishness wins out, and that sucks.

I get way to into cheering for the Red Sox.  Sports shouldn’t mean that much, but sometimes they should.  I also like to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Green Bay Packers, Penn State Football, and UNC Basketball.

I have traveled to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti, Germany, Ireland, and Africa.  There is so much more I would like to see and experience, traveling is a deep desire for me and closer to a necessity.

I currently do all this while residing in Mesa, Az.  But I have lived in Illinois, Washington St., California.  I would love to live in Colorado or in New England, and really overseas.

I don’t ever know what I’m doing, but I keep moving, thinking, writing, acting, and living anyways.  Grace is a beautiful thing, so is mercy.

So here I go again.  Starting over.  Jumping back into the blog world, carving out my own little space to share my life, thoughts, journey, in the form of words and pixels.  I hope to use this space more intentionally than I did past blogs.  I hope to create regular features, update more often, and share more of my photography.  Hopefully these things will cause me to stretch myself, be creative, more thoughtful, and expressive.  Thanks to all my friends who continued to ask me when I would rejoin the Blogosphere, thanks for letting me take my break.  Im ready, so here I go…

And as long as you’re here, tell me, who are you?

Hey Kerry! I just fuond your blog, how weird is that! I am so glad I did, because I got to see all 300 some photos from Africa, that made my day! How is Indiana? I miss seeing you here, in Arizona. I am glad you followed what God was calling you to do, even though it is hard. I hope you know I look up to you, and I hope that one day, when I do know what God is calling me to do, I will proceed. I hope you are being some ones else’s friend, supporter, shoulder, and best youth pastor ever as you were to me. Hope to hear from you soon.
