According to Joe Biden, one of the things that a leader does to instill confidence is to demonstrate that He or She knows what their talking about…

Just the facts…

The Great Stock Market crash happened in 1929 – Roosevelt didn’t become president till 1933 and only began his new deal programs in the same year.

And the other glaring (un)fact… The first presidential speech wasn’t broadcast on television until 1939 (10 years after the crash) and this was only to showcase TV at the 1939 World’s fair in New York.

I love it when politicians say or do dumb things.

Here’s another good Biden moment… He asks Chuck Graham (a democratic leader and also a paraplegic) to stand up (even thought Mr. Graham is in a wheelchair).

Ill give it to Mr. Biden though, he made a nice recovery.  Didn’t run away from his mistake, kept his cool, and pressed on.  Kudos Mr. Biden, Kudos.
